Hi, I Am Charlie Hall
I have lived in Nashua for 60+ years and 40+ years in ward 7. I graduated from Nashua High School in 1969. I joined the U.S. Navy before graduation and left for boot camp in August of 1969. I served two tours in Vietnam, 1970-71 and 1972-73.
After my first tour, I married my high school sweetheart Karen and we have been together ever since. Our first child was born a few months into my second deployment. I was honorably discharged in August, 1973. Returning to Nashua I saw my daughter for the first time and we were finally a family.
I worked at a local machine shop and then at Nashua Corporation. After renting for awhile, we purchased a house in north Nashua. Our second daughter was born in 1976. In 1978 my parents house was for sale. We bought it and moved to Crown Hill to raise our children in my neighborhood.
The high tech boom started and Teradyne hired me. I was a Manager at Teradyne / Amphenol for 35 years in manufacturing, operations and finance. I retired in 2016. I have great memories of my childhood and raising our children in Nashua and Crown Hill.
I started following NH politics about a year and half ago. New Hampshire and Nashua have given me and my family so much to be thankful for it was time for me to return the favor.
